Baseball Card Nostalgia - Ep 2 Tuesday 11 PM EST

If you missed it, check out the review of Baseball Card Nostalgia from our #1 fan, Ethan of Playing With My Cards. If you missed Episode 1 and want to check it out, listen here. Episode 1 was a HUGE success in my book thanks to an incredible guest host. Marcus of All the Way to the Backstop  was outstanding and offered some awesome nostalgic memories and stories.

Episode 2 is this Tuesday at 11 PM EST. This will hopefully be a regularish timeslot At this time I'm still looking for a guest host! If you're interested in guest hosting this Tuesday or on a future episode, please shoot me an email. You don't need to be a great speaker or performer, all you need is the desire to talk about cards. If you listen to Ep 1 you'll see that it isn't a typical radio style show, it was more of a conversation. That's all I want it to ever be. Even if you don't want to guest host, please listen live and call in! Two people can only chat for so long, but once you add in a few more folks, you can get some awesome nostalgia rocking.

As with Ep 1, if anyone calls in they'll get a free PWE packed with cards from the team of their choice.

Without further ado, here are the topics for Tuesday night!

1984 Battle of the Sets
Donruss vs Fleer vs Topps

More first hobby memories

Error Card Spotlight

Cardboard Hero of the Night (TBA)

and more!

  1. Love the "Battle of the Sets" idea! I would've started with something a little easier, though, because I really like all of those, not sure I could pick a favorite. Maybe I'm just biased, though, because I was born in '84.

  2. Hoping to get back from my girls' softball game in time to tune in. I'm with Marcus. That's one of the few years when all of the major sets were good ones. I do have on opinion, though, which I'll call in and share if I can. (Hint: Playing With My Cards wasn't my first card blog...)

  3. I'll definitely try to be home in time to listen to you guys live. As for the first episode... I listened to half of it while eating breakfast yesterday. I'll try to listen to the second half tonight. Keep up the great work.
